Aim to participate in scientific research on Islamic renaissance thought

Dr. Ali Fahd Al-Zami’, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Nohoudh Endowment for Development Studies in the State of Kuwait, and Dr. Ismail Serag El-Din, Director of the Library of Alexandria, signed cooperation and strategic partnership agreement between the Library of Alexandria and Nohoudh Endowment. The agreement aims to partner in scientific research on Islamic renaissance thought, which Its first project was the “Reissue of Islamic Heritage Books in the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Centuries Hijri / Nineteenth and Twentieth Century AD” undertaken by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
This strategic partnership is concerned with issuing fifty new titles from the series “In Islamic Renaissance Thought” issued by the project, compiling and publishing introductory studies for the publications of the series “In Islamic Renaissance Thought” to introduce the flags of the Renaissance, conducting the necessary joint studies towards the establishment of the electronic encyclopedia of Islamic knowledge and Renaissance thought, and conducting The necessary studies to discuss identity issues in the Arab and Islamic world through holding joint workshops.
This agreement stems from the two parties’ belief in the role of scientific research in monitoring the reality in the Islamic world and its importance for the development of Islamic and civilized thought in it, and in evaluating this reality, and determining the desired development goals to get rid of its negatives, support its positives, and contribute to the research movement that aims to develop and modernize it and address its problems.
Nohoudh Endowment for Development Studies is considered a global endowment that aims to contribute to conducting research and studies related to global issues facing Muslims from different cultures and societies, with the aim of supporting the reform of Islamic thought as a platform for development efforts, and providing opportunities for students to complete the postgraduate studies in research programs related to the topics of studies. development related to Muslims and Muslim societies, developing and maintaining institutional ties and long-term multicultural research, and working to develop teaching programs and partnerships aimed at transferring knowledge from internationally renowned research institutions.
